    2022 And Beyond 500x

I am going to buy a new Fiat 500X, but I am wanting to wait til the 2022 model year comes out, or even the 2023 model year. My main reason for waiting is to see if Fiat will offer a 6 speed transmission or a Abarth version in the 500X. One of my main concerns about waiting that period of time is that they may stop making or importing the 500X to to U.S.A. I have seen that they are thinking about coming out with a new model, the 500XL. I do not want to get a 500XL, for that is bigger then I want. From what I have been reading it looks like the 500XL is the future not the 500X. Do you think by waiting this time frame the 500X may go by the wayside.

When the market was better for Fiat, they didn't bring out the Abarth version of the X. So now that the X is the only car being sold, I don't see them doing it now. Also thought the XL was news from a couple years ago.

None of this is happening. The brand is on life support and the X is the only model left for sale and no new models planned or announced for the North American market.

Welcome to the forum. If you want a 500X. Now is going to be the best time to get one. Fiats Existence, might be coming to a end here. There is no such thing, as a 500XL, or a up coming Abarth version.
