Sat antenna for Navigation, the radio antenna on a 500c is built in the the windshield. You can actually see 2 fine vertical wires in the glass.

Ditto ^^^^^. It’s a antenna. Maybe for the Sirius navigation, radio. Possibly on a 500c, since there isn’t any roof mounted one.

I am sticking with humidity/condensation sensor. I just saw a 2018 FIAT 124. It had one of these and a satellite antenna in the middle of the trunk lid and a stubby antenna on top of the right rear fender. I think the satellite antenna on 500s is integral with the stubby roof antenna. Note that the satellite antenna on the 124 is very similar in shape to the combo antenna that is on 500 roofs.

    Fiat 500 HUMIDITY SENSOR

My car does not have the deluxe stereo, but does have the self-adjusting mirror. 500e owners have successfully turned off the humidity function by unclipping this part, per their posts.

This shows the cover and the years this style of cover was used, so maybe not all are mounted to the windshield???

Abarth Cabrio. From the connector, it's for the XM satellite radio. With that said, I'm looking for a smaller antenna because I replaced the windshield with one that wasn't made for cars with satellite radio and it doesn't have a large enough frit (blacked out area) to mount it without it being visible from the outside. The glass was less than half the price which is why I went with that. I want to use one of these Sirius antennas on the left to replace it with. The only issue is they all seem to come with 20+ foot long cables. Do they make any with shorter cables? Is it possible to cut and splice the cable to make it shorter?

It is probably different on a cabrio than on a hardtop or sun roof. Is there no way to tuck the cable into the dash?

The parts number 05091876AA, describes it as an antenna. Probably for the Sirius radio option, on a 500c. Its not a humidity sensor.

I believe both are correct in a way. Doesn't the Cabrio with both Sirius and Automatic Climate Control have TWO boxes on the windshield? One for both Sirius and the Climate sensor?
