The Abarths and turbo models aren't common, but there are a fair number of NA Pops. (The only Abarth sold by our dealer was a 124, I think.) I think it's mostly because it's a university city, U students got them then traded them in.

Agreed... don't understand why owners don't wave. The couple times I've had someone wave, they were driving Abarths. Exception: I had a Pop owner say Hi when I was getting out and they were climbing in.

I use to enjoy, our Fiat club meets, and drives. People would come up to our cars, and ask question about them. People would wave, as we drove by. We had a large club following here.

There are quite a few here in Texarkana. I think I have the only Sport in town. My wife has a black 2013 Pop. Several other Pops, one of the 50's throwback looking ones in blue which is really sharp looking. I've seen two Abarths, I think. A friend has a 2014 Pop. I've thought of trying to contact them all about starting a club here.
One thing that's funny: This is major big pickup country. 75% of vehicles here are trucks. They all have the same shocked expression when I toast them off the line. I've had several big country dudes at gas stations ask if they could sit in my car. They always go crazy when they see how much room there is.
I'm a big biker looking dude, and they always say that I don't look like I would drive that car. lol

I just got back from the home improvement store, where I saw rarer cars; was parked next to a Smart and an IQ.

I haven’t seen a Scion IQ, in a long time.

We do sometimes - perhaps we have waved to you.
There are quite a few around here (South Delta - a suburb of Vancouver).
I like surprising the pickup truck owners in the Langley Costco parking lot when we easily find room in our 2014 Sport for our shopping - including the 30 rolls of toilet paper!
