When i went from single to double on my '18 Cabrio, we used this from PepBoys. I don't remember the product number since it's been about 3 years.

Thanks Haring, great info and pic.

Got my Curt hitch today and it looks like it has a exhaust hanger on the right (passenger) side. Looks like I can reuse the left side hanger and just buy the correct rubber isolator for the right.

The only problem is, the box that the hitch came in was ripped open and I didn't see any mounting hardware in the box. Guess I'll try contacting Curt or Amazon for replacements. The delivery guy just dropped it off on the sidewalk since I wasn't home.

Have them try to fix the order. When I had a used hitch and went to Curt they wanted like $30 just for the hardware.

Actually, I'm stupid as well as blind. The hardware was taped up on the receiver (you can see it in the picture). The tape was hiding a bag of hardware as well as the instructions, in a really tiny bag.

I was going to suggest looking there but had confidence you would find it before morning.

These pictures are neither here nor there but I thought they might by useful to someone. They were taken today when I was installing an ST Suspensions rear torsion bar, Curt trailer hitch, and Abarth lower rear valance.

This is on a 500T (not an Abarth) so I show the location of the stock muffler hangers (there are two) on the left side and the location on the right side where a hanger will need to be mounted for the right exhaust outlet of an dual exhaust outlet system.

Notice that there are two rubber isolators securing the muffler in place. I initially missed the left most isolator because it is hidden and was wondering why the exhaust system wouldn't drop down after removing all of the other isolators. Dummy me. Lol.

I also show the Fiat part numbers for the two isolators. I believe the right hand (passenger) side isolator should be the 68073470AA.

I've got good news and bad news about my Magnaflow exhaust install. Good news is it's in, looks great, sounds great. Bad news is that in order to install it, I had to remove the Curt trailer hitch. Seems the Curt is designed for an Abarth exhaust system that does NOT have a muffler. What this means is the Curt takes up the same space that a muffler wants to be in. Sigh. I was so looking forward to getting a bike carrier so that I can bring my e-bike places to ride.

Oh well, it is what it is. Since the Curt had to be removed, it meant I had to come up with an exhaust hanger for the right side. It was 7 pm on a Saturday night so I could either put the stock exhaust back in or make my own exhaust hanger. My buddy who was helping me made a great looking hanger, as you can see in one of the pics. Turned out perfect plus I found a generic rubber isolator at AutoZone for $6 that was the perfect size. Kismet.

I was able to reuse all of the other factory isolators to hang the system. I reused to original flange gasket at the CAT down pipe since it appeared to be made of copper.

The sound is throaty but not too loud. Matter of fact, it seems to be quieter when idling than stock. It's when you jump on it is when it wakes up. I haven't noticed any power increase, but more importantly, I don't seem to have lost any low end torque due to the larger diameter tubing. Any power increase is probably in the top end but I haven't really had a chance to wring it out.

From the back, my car looks like an Abarth since I have the Abarth lower valance. Of course, those in the know will know it's not as soon as they see the "Fiat" emblem on the trunk lid. Combined with the CAI, the car feels really good. It can certainly pick up it's skirt and scoot. Lol.

My plan is to drive it around like this for a little while and then contact Magnaflow to see if I can buy just the "Y" tail section without a muffler to install so that I can reinstall my Curt hitch. If it's too loud for my taste in this configuration, I can easily add a resonator in the middle, in the tunnel area. I'll probably sell the Magnaflow muffler section if it all works out well.

Side note. In the upper right picture, you can see how well the ST Suspensions torque bar snugs up against the cross beam.

Sounds like the same problem i had on my 500x when i installed the Magnaflow exhaust. The hitch bumped into a small part on the exhaust so the hitch had to go.

I wonder, can you mod the hitch to clear the exhaust?
