Do you change your own oil? We offer a oil/filter kit.

Our cars run under extremely HOT conditions and very few oils on the market will withstand the heat generated from our engines. We recommend only 2 oils......Pennzoil Euro or Motul Xcess 5w40!!
Every year we see engine failure due to oil breaking down. This has happend with Castrol Edge which happens to be a very good oil but not designed specifically for Fiats or Rotella which is the worst for our cars.

Change your oil every 5,000 miles with a new filter. If you have a high mileage car check the oil every 2-3 weeks and top it off because once it gets low it will consume oil faster. We have seen cars come into our shop down 1 and 2 liters!! These cars only hold 4 liters so this is a recipe for disaster. Bottom line if you maintain your car you should see zero issues and it will last well over 100,000 miles.

IMPORTANT!!! Change your Multiair screen at 60,000 miles. This is something the dealer does not tell you. We will speak about this on a future post.

Motul is not sold at most parts stores. You can easily find it online or we offer it with a filter and free shipping. You can order it at: https://dicorse.com/shop/ols/product...l-chn-kit-brt1

We thank you for your business and support. Feel free to call us anytime with questions at 973-343-6545. We are here to serve you!

    Sincerely,
    Bob Zecca

I use - We recommend you use APICertified SAE 5W-40 Full
Synthetic Engine Oil. - As per the manual.

It doesn't state in the manual a particular brand. I use Mobil Super™ Synthetic Euro.
Also I check my oil level at least once a week & change my oil as soon as it starts to get a lot darker than new. Anywhere between 3 - 4,000 miles.

After an oil change I notice the turbo spooling up to the 18psi mark all the time. As the miles go on the turbo gauge needle is somewhere between 16 & 17.

I'm from England where hot hatches are more common than pubs! Here, where I'm at in NH, not so much....

What has the experience been with your customers? Did you see any engine failures?

I'm simply a consumer Robert - I have no customers. Sorry if I misled you.
