    Nav/map upgrade

I really want to get a current map on my 2017 500e and it appears I might be able to accomplish that by buying it from TomTom for $70, US, Mexico and Canada, the latter 2 are useless to me. I realize I could use a phone app but like the idea of an integrated system and am frustrated by its inability to find any charging station when running low. Am I on the right track or should it be done through MOPAR/Stellantis, if at all possible?

Fortunately 95% of us do 95% of our charging at home (according to GM spyware). Keeping track of all the great many new chargers being added is an ongoing challenge that I wouldn't expect TomTom to bother with. The user-updated PlugShare app is the most-often up-to-date app I've found for MY own local chargers. Unfortunately, multiple apps are often needed. For example all my local free Volta chargers show on PlugShare, but I need Volta's own app to check their availability.

I just use the TomTom mount for my freely-updatable cell with multiple apps including PlugShare, Volta, ChargePoint, GoogleMaps, & free real-time OBD (AlfaOBD "demo"):
