    Nothing in NM?

I see and work on Fiats daily, where is our club? People are too busy?

I cant see the $45 if there is literally nobody else around me willing to meet.

Welcome to the forum! Currently it doesn't seem to be a local chapter operating there at the moment. The club board is always looking for motivated people to re-start chapters and I'm sure there are quite a few Fiats in New Mexico so there is a lot of potential. I can put you in contact with the club officials for more info if you like. The club has a lot of resources that can help getting a chapter off the ground. Sometimes chapters pigyback and share events with other car clubs, too, like the BMW club, for example.

I am definitely motivated to get at least conversation moving in this state. I know 2 people at least willing to talk about a club in the 505. Any info would be great.

Perhaps a little off topic, but I have to tell you that I think your 500 is about the most handsome vehicle I've seen on the board. That blue is simply perfect. Kudos on a great choice.

And to MrFiat505, best of luck getting a club started in NM. Wish I lived within driving distance. I'd be your first member!
I spent most of my money on fast cars, guitars and pretty women. I somehow managed to waste the rest of it.

I contacted the club leadership so they should pipe in.

Hi there MRFiat505 and Sinabu, it's great to see you're interested in starting a chapter. For context, there was a New Mexico chapter previously, however that member moved to Texas. I started the NJ chapter almost four years ago now so I can talk about the process a little. Tim Beeble, who is the Secretary and manages the chapters, will help you explore the possibility of opening the new chapter. We had quite a large email base in NJ, so I emailed all the members within the state asking about interest in the New Chapter. The response that I received was then used to gauge the starting size. Also, every chapter should have a President, Secretary, and Treasurer, but the Minnesota chapter was started with maybe 5 people. So beyond those couple of people, the only limit is your enthusiasm. If either of you have questions, I can talk further about my experience. All the best!

Fiat Club America has a network of 35 Chapters in North America that are lead by volunteer club members. As Matt Ross said, the Club has a Chapter in New Mexico, but it's leader moved out of state, and no one has stepped up to organize drives and events. This dormant Chapter could quickly be revived if a club member from New Mexico volunteers to pick up the torch. Our member database includes 10 in New Mexico. This, of course, would grow if there was an active Chapter. Join the club at www.FiatClubAmerica.com and email me at secretary@FiatClubAmerica.com if you want to pursue a renewal of the New Mexico Enchanted Chapter.
