    Morning all

My place is all LEDs and energy efficient blah blah blahs...... its also about 60$ a month in colder/winter months an about double that in the summer with the ac on and two or 3 of the lights are on 24-7

I've been contemplating on tapping into the single light that in the stairwell and run a line of LED tape down the whole way, I'm gonna have to do something since wifey wants to paint the stairs a with a darker stain

Haha! I'm surprised that's street legal. I notice there is a 500L in the parking lot.

In parts of Oklahoma, they sell those, and the small pickup trucks. They arent street legal. Use for farming, ranches, etc.

I'm in NY State and I'd be surprised if they would let that go through DMV. There is a guy around where we live that has something similar. He cuts through the woods with it. He's not supposed to drive on the street, but it's farmland around here and he does maybe a mile on our dead-end road.

My wife's family own a farm and I've been thinking about getting a 4x4 Panda for the farm. My wife just got a Polaris Ranger for yard work . We sneak and drive it on the road for about 100 yards or so to go up to the farm and ride the trails. The Panda is not much larger than the Ranger. We saw one at a recent car show and she sounded almost receptive to the idea! I was waiting for it to be dismissed out of hand.

Around here "it depends" seems to be the answer for those little PUs. The city operated several for maintenance. There was one licensed by a local owner for a while, until the state refused to re-license. Nearly new, they ended up rusting away on a local storage lot.

Farm use is a different category locally. If used as a farm vehicle almost any vehicle can be operated on streets. It's hard to keep track of what qualifies as it seems to change every few years. You used to be able to get a DL at age 14.

Good morning Thinking about it, the guy down the street did have a Daihatsu, I think he retired it after many years of driving it up and down all the trails. I followed it one day and the wheels were so bent and wobbly it looked like something out of a funny silent movie.

My in-laws have truck registered as farm vehicles. Hmm... I wonder if we could get the Panda registered under that?

Here’s what I’d like to own if I had a ranch, or farm. None licensed Jeep look a like. Roxor A/T. Not street legal at all.
