The SA is a friend of mine and also has an Abarth, no worries. I'm having the ATM FMIC installed there after they find out and fix what's wrong with the car.

Ok so after we cleared the 4 codes the light came back on after 15 miles and the car was in limp mode. It sat at work for 9 hrs yesterday and when I came out to go home....only the CEL was on, no ESC or red flashing bolt and the car boosted fine. I drove it 30 miles after that and then went home. I woke up this morning to take the car an hour away to my buddy, used the cruise and no issues but the solid CEL stayed. He scanned it and it came back as a bad MAP.

The ATM FMIC is also being installed and I should get the car back sometime next week. I have a 500L Trekking as a rental and I'm impressed with the interior and Uconnect, too bad we don't have that because its so easy to use and connects a lot easier to everything.

Hey folks, I've got a 2012 500 Sport, bone stock. I filled up after a nasty bit of flooding in my area (Houston) and suspect I got a bad tank of gas: the car immediately ran rough at idle and had a small hesitation under acceleration, regardless of engine temperature. CEL came on solid the following day, and I treated the tank of gas with ISO-Heet to help with water removal. After nearly finishing the tank, the car is running smoother, but the CEL persists. Finally got my hands on a code reader and retrieved the following Pending codes:

P0300 - Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected (makes sense with bad gas)
P0301 - Cylinder 1 Misfire Detected (also makes sense)
P1935 - ??? Tried Googling but didn't have any luck. Can someone identify this code for me?

Won't try clearing the codes until I know what the third one is, don't want to ignore something that could be important!

    Hey CanuckDiver84,

I don’t have a “P1935” on my code list, but there is a B1935, and that is: Passenger Door Lock/Unlock Switch Circuit Stuck. Is it possible your scanner was showing a “B” instead of a “P?” I've asked our techs here to look a bit further; thus far they are confirming there is the "B" code, but haven't found a "P" code yet.

Hey Kori, thanks for helping look into this. I called my local dealership and they didn't have a matching code in their system, so I rescanned the codes, thinking I had copied it down wrong. Somehow, the P1935 code disappeared and was replaced with a P0304 instead (Cylinder 4 Misfire Detected, still showed the 0300 and 0301 codes too). Since all these codes matched my symptoms for a bad tank of gas, I erased the codes and the CEL went away. Been driving for a while on new gas and the CEL hasn't shown up again, I think all is good now.

Welcome to the forum and glad to read your issue wasn't serious and seems resolved.

Brought my 2013 Abarth to the studio this morning to have a couple CELs looked at (First had P2096 Post Catalyst Fuel Trim System Too Lean bank1, cleared that code with my OBDII reader and then about a week after, had P0420 Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold bank1). Studio says the cat is bad and will be replaced under warranty once they get the part in.

My Abarth only has 22,000 miles on it and I purchased it at 19,500 miles. I know cats typically last several years, so is this something to be concerned about?
