    Tire Rotation TPMS Reset

Does anybody know how to reset the TPMS after a tire rotation so the car knows which sensor is at each corner? I have been through the manual 5 times and can't seem to find anything.

    TIA

Just saw that I put this in performance. My bad!

Moved to General Discussion, hope that works for you. I want to say that driving either 20 or 50 miles the TPMS system relearns and resets itself.

    From the manual:

Once the low tire pressure warn-
ing (Tire Pressure Monitoring Telltale Light) illuminates,
you must increase the tire pressure to the recommended
cold placard pressure in order for the Tire Pressure
Monitoring Telltale Light to turn off. The system will
automatically update and the Tire Pressure Monitoring
Telltale Light will turn off once the system receives the
updated tire pressures. The vehicle may need to be
driven for up to 20 minutes above 15 mph (24 km/h) in
order for the TPMS to receive this information.

While you rotated tires and did not have the light illuminate hopefully that helps to inform you about the TPMS system a little.

Thank you for the response. I am just wanting to make sure that the FR, FL, RR, and RL indicators within the EVIC display match the tires that are in those respective locations post rotation. If the car automatically learns/resets everything then I'm happy.

You're welcome, given a little time you should be good.

Rotated my tires this past weekend. Washed out the inside part of the rims and all the calipers really good while doing it. Also corrected the tire pressures for the location. My tpms never alerted to it and all pressures are correct.

I checked the tires and everything looks like it's sorted out. Thanks again Tweak.

I'd never thought about how the front/rear tires have different pressures so what happens with a rotation, can't imagine it would be a problem, assuming the car technology knows that tires get rotated!
