    Seat Covers?

    Hi All,

Anyone have good suggestions on some seat covers? I'd like to get some protection on the front seats

    Thanks,
    Adam

I'd be careful with seat covers. The Abarth has airbags in the seats. Copy pasted straight from the 2012 Abarth owner's guide:

The system includes side impact sensors that are calibrated
to deploy the Seat-Mounted Side Air Bags (SAB)

and SABIC during impacts that require air bag occupant
    protection.
    WARNING!
    • Your vehicle is equipped with left and right
SABIC, do not stack luggage or other cargo up
high enough to block the location of the SABIC.
The area where the side curtain air bag is located
should remain free from any obstructions.
Do not use accessory seat covers or place objects
between you and the SAB; the performance could
be adversely affected and/or objects could be
pushed into you, causing serious injury.

My last car (a 2008 Volvo C70) had airbags in the seats and it explicitly said in the manual to not use seat covers.

Katskinz? or whatever they are called do Airbag seatcovers, You can even get your dealer to order some as they have a Chrysler affiliation.
Idk, if they do an Abarth seat however. I would shoot them an email to see if they are working on a set.
However. Every Katskin leather seat kit i have seen almost always looks terrible. But, this could be just crappy installs and or not
cranking the wrinkles back out after they break in..

Sorry If I came across negative about these guys.. I didnt mean it like that.

lets see some pics!, I think 99% of the time who ever is installing them is doing a poor job and leaving way too much slack, They do look like great quality.

Wet Okole, which means wet a** in Hawaiian, makes neoprene seatcovers designed to be used with seats containing airbags. I'm not sure if they make them for the Abarth, but definitely do for the regular 500's. They come in black with contrasting piping in bright colors similar to the primary FIAT colors. 500 Madness sells them, or did, and many other outlets or direct from Wet Okole. I think you get more options for the colored piping etc. ordering direct.

Here are some pics from the dealership I got my car from:
    http://www.fiatusaofberkeley.com/mck...r-packages.htm

They use Katzkin, and I checked out the color swatches while I was there.
