    Drove 500T and Abarth

I must say... I have been back and forth, back and forth with the idea of getting a Fiat. I currently have a R53 Mini cooper S heavily modified and have always loved Mini's. I drove this weekend to a local Fiat dealer ( or STUDIO ) and drove the 500 pop, 500 T and the Abarth.
500 pop was exactly what I thought it was. An eco friendly neat little car. SLOW but cool regardles..
The 500T was very suprising for me. It was very nimble and the new headlights are sick ( blacked out "Joey Mod" ) It had a little rumble from the pipes however was nothing in comparison to the Abarth.
I was blown away by the Abarth and am strongly considering buying a White 2013. These cars compare to the MINI coopers IMO very well.
I was bashed on my mini Forum for mentioning Fiats so here I am. 1st post
    Cheers

Welcome! I traded in a 2003 Mini Cooper S (albeit stock) on my Abarth, and I haven't looked back since. It's equivalent in performance, far superior in ergonomics and seating comfort, more economical, and more of a hoot to drive, IMHO. I'll take Italian elan over teutonic over-engineering any day. My wife still has a Mini, and I'm wondering how long it will take her to make the jump (she's still paying for her Mini).

Have you driven the 500T. Comparing it Butt2Seat HP your going to love it. If I could pass on any advice even though I am a NEWBIE on here I would recomend getting the ABARTH over the 500t. The 500T's were 19,500 base price but 22,500- 24,500 out the door. The Abarth has the badges, the dual nice pipes, the added HP, and tons more for just 2,500 more.
Never-the-less... The 500 T pulled very nicely and in comparison to a reg 500, you would feel like you just won the lottery

I saw, early last month, where my studio had received its first T so I went down to take a look. I took a couple of pictures but didn't test drive it. Today I went in to have the oil changed in my Sport thinking this would be a good chance to do a test drive of the T, and wouldn't you know it...they sold their demo and the only T they have now is a loaded Grigio one which they have in the middle of the showroom floor!

Now the question is: which would look better; a grigio with red/black leather interior with 17" red wheels, or a blanco with red/black interior and 17" red wheels.
