Hi ladybug!!
There are a lot of 500s here in Austin but not too many Abarths. Trying to change that though with my red /black Abarth
We're having a get together at Top Notch Dec 12th at 10:30am. I'd really like to see this become a regular thing every 2nd Saturday, so come on out!

When Fiat returned to the US, their legal department did not allow the use of their names (Fiat and Lancia) in the club's official corporate name. Fiat did recognize the benefit of a 30+ year old club. They granted the club the use of their name "Fiat" but only as a "doing business as" name. They would not allow the use of the name Lancia in any form. So, technically, the corporate name of the club was changed from Fiat Lancia Unlimited Inc. to become F.L.U. Inc, and dba Fiat Club America. The club is very fortunate to have the legal use of the name Fiat in some form.
This was written up in the magazine on more than one occasion and many people get upset about the lack of the Lancia name. It's important to also point out that in our owner database we saw that Lancia owners only represented 4%. The FLU acronym also had more negative connotations than positive to outsiders and newbies.
