Before buying my Abarth, I already had a stable full of Fiats. Two X-1/9's to be exact. Pics:

Nice, I am an X1/9 fanatic too. I have had this one since 1987.
Mine is RHD from England.

Memories… My first Fiat was an '82 X1/9 I bought second-hand. It had been maintained at a specialist shop since coming out of warranty and had a full service history, so I had some confidence in it. Turned out to be the biggest piece of [what word do you think comes next?] automotive joy [was that your guess?] I've ever had. I absolutely fell in love with that little car. I sold it only because I developed a need to regularly carry more bulky cargo (for work) than it could handle. Now I have an Alfa Milano, which I also love; I hope that in the not-too-distant future I'll have either an Abarth or a Dart. Regardless of what I get, there will always be an X1/9-shaped hole in my heart. To paraphrase the ad, you never forget your first Fiat.
Here are a few images to spark some memories...

I saw some X1/9s at the Carlisle PA kit car/import show earlier this year, one was a door prize that they gave away! Anyone that has one for sale in the SC area just let me know.
I'm actually thinking about buying one of these in 2013. I need to find one here in SoCal so I can check one out, see how they drive etc.
They look like a ton of fun
I want this one. Bone stock, this year.
