Don't have a sunroof but should be warrantied.
The clunk in the steering has a TSB to replace and/or tighten the shaft.

2 minor things with my 2012 Abarth. The driver's side exterior door handle is becoming detached on one side. Is it glued on? The gear shift know has some play in it, and it's bugging me. Has anyone else had these minor issues? Thanks.

The door handle no. The shifter definitely. Tried an adaptor and it broke the stock stamped metal.
Installed a Cravenspeed short shift kit and the shifts are PERFECT.

I apologize if this has been asked before, but what is recommended when parking a car with a manual transmission?

Leave in gear? First or reverse? Or leave in neutral?

What are the pros and cons of each practice? Or is it just personal preference?

Thank you in advance for any advice you can provide this newbie.

My practice for manual transmission is if your on level ground just put it in 1st gear. If your on a hill pull the emergency brake first, let the car rest then put it in low gear in case the emergency brake doesn't hold.

Everyone does something different. I use the e-brake if it's level ground. If there's a slight incline I use the ebrake as normal but also leave it in reverse (or 1st depending on what's in front of me).

My norm is first gear with handbrake. The only thing that you really don't want to happen is reversing the engine rotation. So if it is more likely to roll in one direction or another then gear it so it won't reverse the engine. For example on a steep hill if it is more likely to roll in reverse park it in reverse.

Nothing has changed since 1930. Not sure how this is a question.

Maybe she hasn't had a manual transmission before or just doesn't remember. So it's a fair question. She states she's a newbie.
