    ESC switch?

In my quick-start user manual, they show a switch above the foglight switch marked ESC (electronic stability control). I don't have this switch. Does this mean I cannot switch off the ESC? Not that I think I'd want to, just wondering. I don't know the build date of my car (yet), but I've only had it for 2 days and am still figuring it out.

    Is yours an Automatic?

If so, the ESC button should be right beside the gear lever.

The ESC button will turn off the Traction control, but we can't turn off the Stability control.

I have a Lounge and I do not have the ESC OFF switch, either. I had a Pop as a rental and it did have that switch. I suppose FIAT assumed Lounge owners wouldnt want to turn ESC off. Jonathan (FIATCares) care to chime in on this one?

I checked the User's manual and it states on page 228-230 that each vehicle (auto, manual) have it. On the manual trans, the off switch should be under the a/c controls, on the automatic transmission, its off to the right of the gear shifter. If its in neither of these areas, as the manual indicates, check the instrument cluster display.. it may be in those menus.

Here is a pic of the ESC button on my auto lounge. Kinda hard to see, but gives you an idea of were to look.

Get out! After driving the Pop and seeing it where the foglights are - I never would have looked there!
