They keep telling me that they are on backorder from the vendor ! I have called every month still get the same runaround !!

Did anyone else with a Gucci striped get key fob covers? They are listed as a feature on the Fiat website but I did not get them with my car. The dealers were honestly not the friendliest people to deal with so I'm not wanting to call and complain if it turns out that other people didn't get them either. I see them for sale from amazon.co.uk, but they are not cheap! I'd love to have the extra Gucci accent tho.

Ok, guys (and gals) here is the latest on the GUCCI key covers. There seems to be little confidence that Mopar is going to make the key covers any time soon. So if you really want them they are now available in the USA. www.500madness.com has them listed for $69.99 not including shipping (each). Check out the "New Arrivals" section on the site. Maybe they will start showing up on other websites very soon.

It clearly states on the package that the key fob covers are supposed to come with the vehicle. Although it does not state it on the window sticker, it does on any catalog or description of the Gucci 500 package. I have been going round and round with the dealer and fiatusa customer service. The issue is apparently Gucci has not made them for the cars as of yet. I know it may seem petty to some but since this is a limited edition, I want everything that is supposed to go with the car...

My wife called Gucci yesterday and we might be getting somewhere. We explained to them what is supposed to come with the car (which they agreed) and the fact that we aren't getting them as owners (and it cleraly states they are a part of the package). Gucci will be getting back with us within the next couple of days to see what kind of resolution we can get. Pretty ridiculous if you ask me.

Not at all petty...you're entitled to everything that came standard with this model...and they shouldn't have to be purchased from a 3rd party...obviously they are being made so FIAT should make every effort to provide them...even if they have to order them from 500madness and provide them to each customer that purchased this model...there's no excuse for this.

I agree 100%. This really needs to be resolved.

Just got a call from Chris at Fiat. He said that the issue has been escalated to the next level (whatever that means) and he confirmed that everyone with a gucci edition was supposed to receive one. He did state if we are tired of waiting, we could purchase two of them from 500madness.com and they would reimburse us for one (500madness.com charges 69.99 and Fiat's cost is $35 a piece (wholesale) ). I'm going to wait it out a little longer but at least we are getting somewhere. He was unable to tell me if it was a quality issue or a vendor issue of why no one had received them. Anyways, I will keep fighting until we get them!
