Want No Beep? - Just do two quick clicks on the key fob

Earlier, I posted on the security system beep topic - Lock Doors - No Beep - This seems to work. I had found a convoluted way to lock the car without beeping. I feel like a real dope, but it is even easier than I imagined. Just 3 quick steps.

1. Turn off the engine
2. Get out of the car but leave the driver door open
3. Press the lock door key fob button (middle one) twice quickly and close the driver door.

No beep! Ciao.

This is not working for me... I'm not sure if I'm clicking twice too fast? Too slow? Out of a dozen or so times it worked once. But the other times the car honks when I close the door after double clicking the lock button.

Couldn't get it to work. If you use the key, there is no beep, but I assume the alarm is not set.

rocguy: I would have your studio check it out... I checked out the user manual and if you use the fob, it should work.

Intresting. I do miss the ability to open and close all the window and sun roof with the Fob

I tried this when I got to work this AM.....worked great. hopefully it will work every time. too bad its not something one can do 'once' and be done with it though. I kept forgetting and shut my door first several times before I finally remembered to try it.

Did not work for me so when I get the A car I will install A horns which will cure the problem.

I install a Fiamm Nautilus Stebel horn on my Fiat... I don't know why, there is no beeb anymore when I lock the Fiat... Is it because the Fiamm is a horn with an ait compressor ? I think is that...
