Thoughts of changing dash panel color, is it easy?

I'm considering the possibility of changing the dash panel which normally matches the exterior to match the seat color instead. Does anyone know if that requires removing the entire dash or is it a simple pop in and out kind of thing. The last thing I would want is to have to remove the entire dash and risk rattles afterwards.

I am interested in this too. I plan on changing my Abarths white dash panel to red.

It is pretty easy. I swapped out the matte gray Prima Edizione dash for a body colored red dash. Best "mod" I ever made.

Here is how it is done:
First you need to pry off the bezel around the AC controls. The flat part that surrounds them. Underneath that you will find two 25 torx screws. Then open the glove box, inside there you will find under the air vent another 25 torx screw. Remove the three screws and simply and gently pry the cover off. The display for the radio has some wires and screws that must be addressed, and the buttons ("sport," etc)must be detached, but no big deal. That takes care of the right side. The left just needs to be gently pryed off. There are clips only on that side.
Use a soft pry tool made out of plastic so that you don't scratch anything.

I think it would be nice to see it covered in leather or alcantara. It wouldn't actually be that difficult to pull off.

I love my white dash, thats one of the reasons why I picked a FIAT. I must admit Red would look good too with my red seats. Please dont get me started on more modifications, Im still hurting from the down payment, lol

Hi everyone. This is my first post here.
I recently came across some 500 dash pieces. So I wrapped one set in black carbon fiber from 3M. I thought I would find a 500 community
to post these on . Since this thread was already questioning changing dash color I thought I would post a few pictures.
                        Here is the before.

...and if you are going to take the dash apart, why on earth would you want to keep that Sport button that defaults to 'off'. Check out my modification to have Sport mode default to 'on'. http://www.fiat500usaforum.com/showt...N-Sport-button
