    2023 Abarth 500e reveal

The car looks more upscale now. Especially the interior.
I wonder if you can rev the synthetic engine sound,
    while in neutral.

I like all the fresh Abarth badges. Not a Fiat emblem
    any where.

$44k is not bad price. The Mini Cooper SE,
Is a little faster. 0-60. Doesnt have the driving range.
Of the Abarth EV. Price wise it will run $37k.

Mini Cooper SE is also 70% slower recharging on public DC.

    I care more about 0-30, than 0-60...:

    I don't know about the Mini SE, but I saw a 3 second 0-30 spec for the 2nd-gen 500e (1st-gen is 2.8).

By the time I'm a car length ahead at 30mph I can get in front of a "quicker" 0-60 car like a Spark EV.

Nice... and quicker on the track when compared to the 695.

The 2023 Chevy Bolt is faster at 0-60 6.4 seconds. 200 hp, a driving range of 259 miles.
Plenty of Chevrolet dealerships out there to offer them. Service too.
Fair market price $28k loaded. You can actual buy this car here!

And my neighbors had her Bolt batteries replaced twice already. In four years. And not without a bit of a fight.
2017 500 Abarth, manual trans, NAV, Beats, Sunroof, 17" wheels, everything. But no mods. None, nada.

Apparently around 95% of all EV battery warranties have been for LG products like in the Bolt & Kona EV.

The 1st-gen Fiat has more-reliable Samsung SDI cells.

I wonder if anybody can report what brand the Abarth uses. It appears to be the exact same pack as the standard-range 2nd-gen 500e.

There was a manufacturer recall from Chevrolet. On the Bolts batteries, causing the fires. The Bolts battery warranty
    is 8 year 80k miles.

The first generation 500e, has the same warranty. Issue with the 500e, very few Fiat dealership left to honor that.
Lots of lease resale of that car, across the country. Those Fiat dealers left, won’t even touch a 500e.
You got a large paper weight. Sitting in the garage, dead battery.

I’d feel more comfortable buy a Ford, Chevy, Nissan, Mini, etc EV.
