Car wont charge at public stations

    Hello everybody!
One week ago we got a 2017 Fiat 500e.
We live in own house and the car charges fine at home from a 240V wall plug.
in order to charge at the public stations, we purchased a type1/type2 cable since the mist stations in Moscow have Type 2 plugs.
But the car does not charge. We have tried at 5 different charging posts. The side lights at the dash blink and the car writes Service charging system!
Does anybody have any thoughts about my issue?

Try plugging in with the key on. That deactivates the onboard charge timers*, which can reset itself to its default "active" mode, especially when a 12V starter battery is reconnected. I set my timers* to charge from 1am until 12:30am, so if it reactivates itself, it only prevents charging for 30 minutes max.

Try rebooting the public charger: EVERY ONE of the ChargePoint chargers where my friend used to work would fail until I hit the reset button, even though EVERY other ChargePoint I've ever used has been fine! Some public chargers will auto-reboot after a failure, if you unplug for 15 minutes. Others will reboot when you return the plug to its socket.

Also, the OEM cord has seemed to reset the car, at least on 120V, so if you have that cord, I'd try it first on 240V but if that doesn't work, I'd get a travel adapter like an American would use if they bring their favorite hair dryer to Moscow.

    * My 2013 has 2 timers, 1 for weekdays & 1 for weekends, with only 30-min increments available (I believe later models like yours have 15 min or less)

2013 500e has been my only car since 2015.

    Dear friend!
The problem is solved. There were 2 faults in the cars memory, not directly linked to charging (ABS and Recuperative charging). After clearing those faults the car started to charge.
    Thanks!

We visited the local EV workshop and guys did it for us. Additionally we changed oil in the gearbox. Mileage is currently at 29500 km.
