    The Fiat Multipla

One ugly vehicle, up there with the Pontiac Aztec, AMC Pacer, and Matador. The Edsel, etc.

It looks like a Johnny Cab out of Total Recall.

It may be a very useful vehicle, but life's too short to drive something that looks like that!

Yep, that's what killed its sales... had to get past that nose. It's a shame they didn't keep the removeable seats in later models. That's one of the few features I loved about the Dodge mini vans.

I like the looks of the car... except from the front. That looks more like something a French company would build. I can see why cab drivers would love them. It was reasonably reliable and MPG was similar to the 500 (diesel). Speaking of the JohnnyCab (or the SixMania), there was a Fiat 500 in Total Recall. Nice to know one lasted until 2039.

Roberto made some very interesting concept cars, especially in the early days. His Fiat Downtown (1993) was ahead of its time. The EV had easy entry and comfortably seating 3, 60 MPH (max) and 120 miles of range it was advanced for that era. It even had a display on the console. (Remember, in 1993 DOS 6, Windows NT and the Pentium chip were first released.) All in a package as short as the average SUV's width.

I always liked the utilitarian look of the Multipla. However I realize that's the minority position.
