Now that COVID’s finally spinning down…
I’ve seen a couple of you around. 😉. And another black Abarth 500 is up the block from me. I’m the Lynnwood area.
Anybody else lurking here?

Saw new posting on CraigtsList Seattle for first 2012 Edition FIAT 500 with very low miles https://seattle.craigslist.org/est/c...479277814.html
That's a nice looking car and I'm surprised it still has the original Edicione kit in the boot.
I remember our dealership got in 10 of these little car. Prima model. They were all spoken for. I believe they were numbered up 500. One of our club members here owned one.He keep the plastic on the seats, from the factory. I would assume they would eventually, become collectors items. Being numbered, and the first 500’s offered here. That One for sale, has really low mileage one the clock. It’s basically a Sport, the alloy wheel, are a little darker gray, numbered plaque on the dash. I believe the stitching on the steering wheel is colored, there’s a Round plaque on the B pillar. Something embroidery on the headrests. I think they were only offered in red, black, and gray. I wouldn’t mind snatching that one up!

The dash emblem is hard to come by, but I have a new pillar medalion in my collection. I think this is a photo of seat medalion, in that car. I think you had to be a member of "Club Fiat-Lancia Unlimited" to buy one in the US... any left overs sold at www.ciaofiat.com. As MT put it, "as a reward for their loyalty to all things frail and rust-prone." Fiat missed their mark, making them in red, white and gray (instead of green).
A lot of owners kept the original sales sheet because it listed the owner's name (This car built especially for <name).
I'm not sure how collectable they'll be, since there's a Prima in Canada, #322 for $2500 @ 6300 miles and #117 for $4650. I assume those sold quickly. https://car-from-uk.com/sale.php?id=117845&country=ca

My window sticker reads, made especially for me. Because I order it from the factory. Back in June of 2011. My car was a special ordered Sport.
The way your going To obtain a the Prima number emblem, is off a totaled car.
Another club member here Kevin, ordered a Gumby colored 500 sport.
He’s came in before mine. He got the personal named window sticker. A nice touch from Fiat USA.
Phil one our Fiat club members here too. Owns this red one…..
One of our Fiat clubs, venues. Phil behind me.

The first Fiat 500s off of the assembly line were called the Prima Edizione. Those cars were exclusively offered to Fiat Club America members at their 2010 national convention held in July 2010. The head of Fiat USA attended the show and made the surprise announcement at the end of the banquette in appreciation of carrying the flag here for the company. Somewhere around 15 cars were sold. Fiat reserved a handful of cars for some executives, celebrities, charities and museums and the balance of the cars (reportedly around 470+) were to be offered on the Fiat USA website (then called caiofiat.com) at a date in the future. That happened in September. This was very exciting as you could see the numbers count down in real time. The cars were all spoken for within approximately an hour.
You can read how here including a screen shots of the countdown to zero cars: Reserving a Fiat 500 Prima Edizione: My Story
Working with my contacts at the company, I was able to deliver a lot of exclusive information on the cars while we all waited for delivery of them. You can read the stories in the Blog here: Fiat 500 Prima Edizione Articles of Fiat500usa.com
Plus we have a lot of threads in the Fiat 500 Prima Edizione Forum
Lots of good reading!

It’s too bad, no one values that car. As a numbered collector vehicle. Maybe in 20 years
