Corsa Forza Performance Vertical Chassis Braces

I was looking at these braces on CFP's webpage. Their description says these are made of 6061 aluminum 3/8" thick but, also says they are 1/2" thick. Anybody know how thick they are?

    Pedantic much.

So you're looking for clarification regarding 1/8th of an inch?

Yes because I will build my own and clearance can be an issue on these. Also I saw a posting on here somewhere that a member got a set and the angles were incorrectly bent. I haven't had very good luck returning defective parts to vendors .

    Gotcha

Glad you realized I was just being a sarcastic ass!

I wish I could help. They are on my bucket list...but way, way down near the bottom. Good luck.

Honestly…that sounds like they didn’t use the right brace for the right side. They only go one way.

I have the el gato braces so I can’t help you out. Sorry.

From the pics I cant imagine that they are 1/2 bent bar. I would assume 3/8 thick. I have the DNA braces on mine. Pretty simple design.

DNA also on mine. Straight tubular steel seems a better idea than bent aluminum.

I have the CFP braces and they were properly bent. Fit like a glove. Even though they're flat aluminum, they're still better than the flimsy OEM pressed sheet steel design.

I also got their lower subframe brace. Can't tell if they work since I don't push the car very hard. But at least I don't have to worry about them crumpling up.

I wanted the aluminum ones for the weight savings. I'll just buy the aluminum and make them myself.
