    Anyone Running the Tork Valve Springs?

    Questions about these : will they work in a NA motor; is the return in power worth the install work; are they reliable; any down side to them ?

    If you ask the manufacture, they will tell you they are amazing and provide power and the factory brick needs them.

    If you ask Engineering, they will tell you do not mess with the MA Brick.

    Unofficially, they have been sending over replacement heads (if it comes to that). Otherwise I think it's "at your own risk" as for most of the aftermarket stuff; like even with pistons there is a warranty. IMO, it's a *real* modification so the appropriate care should be taken to ensure things work appropriately. What I haven't seen so far is a clear before/after dyno.

    Looking at MTD, they have revved skyhigh (to like 8k+) with cams + springs but left the multiair springs. Not sure if this car is a "tuner car" made for dyno pulls and street pulls so I don't know about reliability. Side note, I'm learning a lot of the real limitations of this car for racing - I'll publish more as I continue to dip my feet into a proper build.

    Thanks to all that replied. I think I'll pass on the springs. Now if I could just get the guy at Maxbore to let me know if he can bore my throttle body on my 500S.

    Don't forget to ask if they can make/provide a larger throttle plate for the larger bore. Can't reuse the original one in the larger bore.

    Well aware of that. MaxBore will streamline the butterfly rod if you request it.
