OK i did that still a no go...

cleared codes and then turned off car, disconnected 12v, reset the HV fuse, reconnected 12v and then turned car back on and it didnt thump and went back to a bunch of errors... all this from a dead battery jeez.

Ya, I was going to say I hate to admit that I'm all out of ideas, & it's crazy/scary how none of those ideas fixed an issue caused by just a dead 12V!

Official "wiTech" OBD might work better, but that would mean towing if no mobile mechanic is available. I wonder about AAA: If you don't have it, can you get it now & then tell them it just died? They might have some common brands' specialized OBD, like VW, Toyota, Ford, GM, FCA...

OH! I wonder if wiTech is available to purchase, for a cost that's "reasonable" compared to paying a mobile mechanic or towing & then service center fees.

Another thread has led me to believe that the contactors won't close if HV drive battery voltage is too low. I suddenly wondered if maybe that also happens if just ONE cell has gone bad, so maybe see if you can read the min & max cell voltages. I believe that only works when the contactors are closed, but it seems like you can get that to happen, at least momentarily to run a scan.

Sorry, but for some reason I can't attach pics right now, so if you don't know the Alfa OBD procedure, after connecting, tap:

    1) "Select Control Unit"
    2) "Battery Pack Control Module" (doesn't seem to matter "Var.1, 2 or 3")
    3) "Connect"
    4) Swipe left
    5) "Read System Status"

Then scroll down until you see at the VERY left margin:

Min/Max Status: Maximum voltage Cell number...

May have to give that a try... I ended up towing it to the FIAT dealership... They had it 5 days now, they called me said they did the recall and still cant get it to work... They said they now need $500+ just to diagnose the issue.... So not sure if i should just pay it or what... Seems like high way robbery to me and a bit fishy if you ask me... Champion Dodge/Fiat in Downey CA.... Service manager didn't call me for 4 days then all of a sudden its $500+ to diagnose....
