Tires are sold out. The order has been cancelled since no adequate all-season substitutes were available.

I might have to wait until next spring before I can get new tires and rims when supplies are available again. Maybe I might get be lucky and hit a decent sale or find some coupons to lessen the blow.

Looks like I'll be mounting the winter wheels a bit early this year!

I think these Competizione wheels at $600 USD a set look nice and a direct fit, no wobble bolts. They are in stock and the company has an office in Toronto so shipping should not be too difficult: There should be lots of choice in 205/40/17 tires. If you can afford them the Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4's are great tires.

Not sure about Michelin. The gearhead at the office told me she's been hearing complaints about Michelin tires lately and recommended against buying them.

I'll try Speedmotive again. It's possible their submission form didn't work and they never got my message. I'll try calling them next time.

Still open to buying 16 inch rims. The wider sidewall will help with surviving Ottawa's bad roads.

I have the Michelin AS4's on my car. I find them a great improvement over the OE Pirelli P Zeros.

Speedmotive has no stock. They asked that I try again in three weeks.

BTW, their address in Niagara Falls is a private mailbox outlet.

At least I can take my time shopping for new rims for next year or find replacement OEM rims.

Worst case: summer steelies. I can live with that. I originally wanted to go to 16 inches anyway for a bit more ride comfort.

Sorry to hear: Speedmotive should update their website and not show stuff in stock when it's not.

They did disable the selection of some items, but not all of them.

Hopefully I can find an excellent deal on some fantastic rims. I wouldn't mind getting the Neuspeed rims in matte black. Much easier to spray paint off the scratches I'll be generously adding to them!
