    Drove a Guilia Today

Had a loaner car lent to me while the Abarth was getting serviced.

Nice car. Very refined sedan and the steering is VERY sharp, with aggressive turn in. Wish ours were like that but hard to do with FWD.

Comfortable and quiet. I'll say this: the standard engine provides for VERY fast acceleration and it's so smooth, you don't realize how quick it is. The QV must roll your eyeballs back in your head.

So, would I buy one? If I needed a four door sedan, probably.

Is it as engaging or as much fun as the Abarth?

    No.

Cool. Yeah, you'd want the V6 model. Why wait 5 1/2 seconds to reach 60 when you can get there 2 seconds sooner? lol It's amazing how quick some of the new models are. Amazing... 1/4 mile times to equal the hopped up cars of my era while setting a record at Nurburgring.

Some of these cars would have won an NHRA regional trophy for "A" stock. Now we sell them to any dentist who can afford one.

I live in a pretty rich city. Still haven’t seen any model Alfa on the road here.

We're swamped with them. Mostly Stelvios, but the sedans sell well here too.

They have something like 80 dealers in the country. We are fairly close to one... only a 4 hour round trip. That tends to cut down on the number of Alfas in town.

We have 2 dealership here. Ones is at a our MB, Jaguar Porsche, land rover, Maserati, dealership. The other is at the very last Fiat studio. The only Alfa 4C I’ve ever seen. Was at the 2015 auto show here. I bet eventually, Stellantis will pull Alfa, and Fiat this country. Extremely poor sales numbers.

The Guilia sedan, not badly priced. You can buy a new one lower $41k to 50k. There are just so many other comparable choices out there, around the same price.

Had my Abarth in for the 32,000 service last week and also got a 2020 Giulia loaner .... you saved me some typing as my reactions were pretty much the same as yours. Stunning to look at (Nero paint, wheels and interior) and deceptively fast, my only real complaints were getting in and out of it (the doors are small and the seats low) and the B pillar partially blocking my side view.
