Ahh, knee issues. I'm with you on that and have my own knee problem. A lot of guys have gone to the 500X for the same reason. The Abarth auto or 500T auto can also an alternative.

An Abarth auto makes a lot of sense for someone with knee issues, but that transmission would take so much of the fun factor away when driving.
The 500X, on the other hand, has a lot of nice features and extra space. That extra space would come in handy for transporting my bike or stand up e-scooter. If I could, I'd have both: my 500T and a 500X.
I may weld on some reinforcement to the mounting plates of my new torsion bar before installing. I know this will negate any warranty, but hopefully it won't break again where I won't need it. To add a little flash, I'll probably repaint it red.
