I ordered some parts for my C514 transmission about a week ago. I ordered off their parts drawing showing the shift lever parts. I ordered two Shift Lever Seals 681396962AA and they sent orings. My transmission had a lip seal in that location not an oring. I also ordered two snap rings 68136958 AA and got an empty plastic bag. What really added fuel to the fire was I got on their webpage and tried to send them a email ticket about this . After writing this all out with part numbers and everything the webpage said they couldn't submit my ticket right now. They don't have a phone number on their web page and I understand why. I could have my car road ready in about two hours but, now I'm sure it will be days of more down time. This is only the second time I've dealt with these people and they screwed up that order too.

They used to be great. That's where I ordered my turbo lights on my old Abarth. When i went there to order a set for my current cabrio the price was more than anywhere else. So i took that as a sign to look somewhere else.

My first order there also didn't go too well. I was surprised by that. My second order went better so I'm on the fence. I like that they are in the same state, so the shipping is quick (once they do it). The shipping prices, though, are very expensive and eats in to whatever you save over the dealer. I bought a few bolts and the shipping was off the wall, but I don't have a dealer near me and no time anyway to go to a Chrysler dealer and get blank looks about ordering Fiat parts.

You are right Dave that is the larger of the two seals. Part number 68136962AA Seal-Shift Lever is an oring. My transmission has a lip seal in that location. I called several Fiat parts departments today about this and nobody could figure out how to get me a seal. I think I got around the problem tonight . I bored the opening in the cover .050" deeper and put an oring I had that fit the bore and shaft in and then pressed the lip seal back in to retain the oring. I think two guys I talked with today are still trying to figure this out. I'm good for now but, it may help others one day.

I can't say if they are part of Mopar or not but, today all the parts departments people I talked with used all the same part numbers and drawings.
