    Going to limp mode

    Hi i have a 2012 sport round 74 k miles runs fine when i sit idle for a sec after driving bat light comes on goes of then the throttle sensir light comes on i can turn car off start it back uo will go fine untill i stop again i did smell burning plastic earlier before it started but wasnt sure 8f it was me help please only had this car for 2 weeks

    I would start by having your battery tested... but it sounds like it could be your alternator or its belt failing. You don't happen to hear the belt making noise (squealing) do you?

    How old, is the battery in your car? Ditto, the accessory belt, to the alternators is failing. Probably the alternator is starting to freeze and seizing up.
