Uniball Installing Help

Can anyone tell me on installing Uniballs on a Fiat 500 Sport which side of the swing arm does the flange go on or does it matter? Second question is how tight should the press fit be? I'm miking it to be .014" tight. I would think .002" to .004" would be plenty. I get on the web and there are pictures of the flange being on either side. Thanks.

Contact DNA and follow their guidelines.

I tried yesterday two times to email them without any luck. When I hit the send icon on their webpage it said something like "Error On Page" and wouldn't send it. It would not tell me what the error was. Usually I can find a youtube clip but, not on the Uniball install on a Fiat.

You can also contact the Retailer that sold them to you. I hope you didn't buy them from anyone else but Speedmotive.

The retailer I bought them from is trying to get the information. He hasn't yet and I wanted to continue working on it over the weekend.

I don't know if there is a problem with the page or my computer. I posted #7 reply because #6 didn't show on my screen. Then I tried to delete #7 or edit it and that wouldn't work either. Anyway thanks to everyone.

I got an email this morning from DNA Italy. The flange end of the Uniball goes to the wheel side of the swing arm . In other words to the out side. They noted in the email that they don't have instructions for installing them. It wouldn't have been an issue for me but, with pictures on the web showing them mounted from either side , I wanted to be sure. If they were wrong it would throw off the mounting bracket to body bolt pattern. Thanks everyone that helped. I give some feedback later when I get the car back on the road. Beside the Uniballs I'm doing upgraded ss brake lines and adding Abarth front brakes while it's down.

Keep them lubricated, and you might even put some anti corrosion protection on them. DNA doesn't tell you this.
