Mine has the nero trimmed lenses - I'm not convinced the lens area is different, but even if so it is unlikely to affect the headlight output.

The original 500T had the smoked headlamps, and tail lamps. Came as standard equipment, on that model. The Fiat 500 community, craved having them on their cars.

Has the op verified the lamps are adjusted properly? I thought my head lamps were under powered until I pulled the vehicle up to a wall for the first time and saw the lights were not adjusted properly. I had to raise the cut off about four inches at the standard aligning distance.
Pull up to a wall and go through a proper headlight adjustment. Monkey with it a little and you’ll see the rather drastic impact it has, being off by just a little bit.
one adjuster swings the headlamp in an arc handling both up/down and l/r aim. Somewhat disconcerting for those who like to aim their lamps more specific to their needs.

I think when some some products says their led bulb is "brighter" I don't think that's true. It would be brighter but just a little so in my opinion you just really need to choose for the "known" brands so we know it is really quality and the brightness won't easily be down.

Thank you everybody for the input. I went with the Auxitos and love the brightness. Put them in last night, just in time. We had a storm overnight and my commute to work consisted of flooded roadways, mud slides, and downed trees. I was able to drive safely through it all. With my old headlights I wouldn't have been able to see much of it until I hit it. Thanks again.
P.S. thinking about getting something similar for the lower driving lights. Does anyone know what type or size of bulb those are?
Thanks
