The planning stage is complete, the slowly purchasing parts stage is underway till the engine pops then the swap officially starts.
I can post up the details if anyone is interested

I am interested, but I probably don't need any other distractions. Post it and I'll test my willpower.

Are you expecting the engine to pop?

I'll give you the bullet points.

engine rx7 fd(REW) with an rx8(renni) front cover. If I can afford it I'd get it semi-perphi port other wise I'll stick with a nice street port.
niconrotary subframe, engine mounts, and oil pan (all work together on the swap)

Intake will be the xcessive lower and oem rx7 upper. niconrotary t-body spacer with greddy elbow.

turbo will be EFR IWG t4 twin scroll but not 100% on size yet either 8474 or 9180 , custom low mount DP, mishioto fmic

fuel system will be an oem pump cradle upgraded to a return system via radium vanturi, walbro 450lph, full function rail set 1000cc primary 2000cc secondarys FPR, 6an braided lines, etc.

ecu will be adaptronic modular pnp for the rx8 to keep all the power steering, abs, esc, etc working.( no Christmas tree dashboard )

I'll keep the 6speed trans still it blows and replace it with the rx8 oem 5speed which is basically the same as the FD trans so good for 500+ hp
clutch will be spec twin organic with racing beat flywheel and ACT FD counterweight.

probably going to run with 14-15psi but could push 20 plus. 91 pump with the option of going e85

    ~400-450whp tune and porting depended

well yes and no. mazda made 1 mazdaspeed rx8 with a turbo and all the mazdaspeed stuff (body kit, wing, interior, suspension etc.) it's in their museum, they sold "mazdaspeed" rx8s over seas but it was just the body kits, interior, and suspension stuffs. you could buy the ms bits at dealrships with a warranty here but not many people did.

both my ms wing and front bumper are jdm imports (I got a front clip of one so I could use the smaller jdm crash bar for more fmic room.)

I got tired of lack of storage space in the house. I'd put wheels on the bookshelves, but dust was always a problem... with the dogs.

So, 3 new cabinets assembled and installed. The small one is filled with projects, cleaning supplies, and interior paint (another project). Then there are the 2 big roller carts. One is a bookshelf/misc and the second (another room) for dog junk and hobbies. Now it should be possible to keep the grout cleaner. (Before it was an 8 hour job... should be able to clean it properly, now.) Next up, my inside work bench and roller cart for the microwave & small oven.
