    Alpha Ace EV

Aside from a probable lawsuit over the name from FCA if they ever go into production, this looks pretty cool.

It looks kind of like retro style Alfa 105/115 coupe:

Liquid-cooled battery, 250+ mile range, 0-60mph in six seconds. But a two seater, which is a tough sell in the US. I'd do my commute in one of the price is decent.

Looks cool. And I like the front end even if it is about as aerodynamic as a swift kick in the rear.

Hopefully it's not just another vapor car.

Ev or not, who would make the investment to buy a car from some company with no experience designing or manufacturing vehicles, nor a support network? I suppose if it's a toy like the many boutique cars back in the day (TVR, Lotus, etc.), or you live near the factory maybe. When you look at all the development work that goes into a real vehicle, such as making sure the doors handles work at cold temps, or serviceability of parts, or that parts can handle impacts and hard bumps, etc. Where will you get parts? It makes no sense to me.

We will see a lot of EV start up companies, here in the next 10 years. Many from Chinese. They seem to be leading the automotive technology. Mercedes Benz, joint venture, with Getty. Will be Developing and manufacturing the next EV smart car.

Yes, and like always with startups, most will fail.

It is very easy in the internet age to make a web site that looks very polished and real, but to have nothing at all to back it up.

Right now, the Alpha Ace is just computer generated artwork. Nice looking concept. Most EV’s are simply boring looking. The beginning of the horseless carriage era. Most those start up companies fizzled out too. The Chinese have Actual EV vehicles to offer.

EVs are now tied to the Elon Musk financial fraud scheme where one starts with vaporware to attract investors, and the real product (if it ever happens at all) is something much less than advertised.

Tesla’s advertised, made promises, and took down payments on the model 3 car. He came though with those. The only thing, the lower price, did Materialize.

    Model 3 sales numbers.....

    2017 1,667
    2018 140,317
    2019 161,100
    2020 163,500

Yes about Tesla, and don't forget Apple is looking about supplying a car in the near future. Electric passenger cars are relatively easy to manufacturer compared to similar ICE cars. Far fewer parts and fewer system integration issues.
