Love the video but for some reason is very grainy/pixelated.

What's interesting to me is how few human beings are needed to build a car.

That video is old, wasn’t taken in 1080. Was down loaded to You tube in a lower resolution too. Go to You Tube, and watch at the Polish Fiat 500 Manufacturing plant. All modern, automotive manufacturers are we’re pretty robotic. Very little human contact, building new cars. I love watching robots weld, assemble, and paint cars. Humans all do the detail work.

That's the video of their 2 plants, the assembly and stamping plants. I don't know how many 500's they could make, but the plant(s) built around 300K Jeep Compass' in 2019. It's one of the reasons the 500 wasn't profitable and had assembly flaws... too much capacity. They could crank out a year's supply in weeks, then swap back to cars that sold better. It's a bit like having a dozen workers assembling a tool shed.

The old PT cruiser assembly plant back in its day.

The new 2021, 500e, is Assembled in Italy.

Yeah, and they did major upgrades to the Italy plant. It's an amazing place.
