Passenger front door stop unlocking by remote

Hi, does anybody has had such problem? All other doors functioning well, only this one refuses to unlock using remote controller. From inside, moving the handle manually is the only option.

I'm not sure what year you have, but there are 2 option settings for my 2018. In the menu you can set it to unlock with 2 presses of the remote, or have it open all doors with one click. You could try setting it the one click option.

I've had my system glitch a couple times and reset options on me. I'm thinking maybe yours reset itself and got stuck half-way between the options. e.g. One of the resets had my instruments reading in Italian (not an option that can be chosen). It still showed English in the menu, so I reset to Spanish, saved, then back to English to get it to work.

Do both key fobs do the same thing?

My 500l is 2015 Model. Later, foundout a mechanical problem on door locking mechanism. When the door panel is taken off, you can take the lock mechanism out. It is entirely made of plastic. When you press unlock key, a small motor is turning a gear which do unlock. This small plastic gear has a broken tooth, so it can not move.
Will try to fix the gear if possible.
