Hi!

Pics from my imported 500E in Europe, great fun! A few questions I have while I am driving it for about 3 years now:

- Is the cable for the optional subwoofer in the trunk in any 500E available?
- Can the horn sound when locking be deactivated?

Welcome to the forum! I've actually have been asking the same thing, the horn on the lock cannot be deactivated at all by the owner, the only safe way to do it is by using the key to manually lock the car, or else it'll just keep beeping every-time you lock the car. As for the subwoofer cable, I'm not sure what you mean by that, and what audio system is in your car? You might be able to find what your looking for on eBay (the US site).

You'll probably need to make your own cable. Fiat 500 were sold in the US with 3 levels of audio system: Base System, Alpine Premium, and Beats Premium. The 500e has the Alpine system.

I really doubt you can disable the horn sound, from the vehicle. Built into the cars computer software.

Sorry I don't have access to test this right now:

I just remembered one time my hatch was so full it only clicked shut ONE latch instead of two. I think it locked without beeping.

That likely disarmed the alarm, but if you care about that you can test it by unlocking the left door with the key: If the alarm is armed & you open it after unlocking with the metal key, the alarm will sound.
