O2 spacer for CEL

Anyone running a catless downpipe with an O2 spacer to prevent CEL? Do they work?

I could never get it to work. They would delay the inevitable, but ultimately a failed experiment.

I tried one with a high flow cat that was giving me a light and it still didn't help. I can make you a deal on a slightly used one.

in the event im getting a p0420 cel from my high flow cat, and then it went away, and now its back again..what do i do? i dont have my stock downpipe anymore because i never thought id need it ..and i certainly cant pay to keep swapping them :/ idk what to do if reflashing my tune doesnt keep it at bay...im really hoping that does the trick though :X

Can't you get a code reader that you can clear it with?

You might consider having a scan done. Sometimes those are early signs the engine isn't burning fuel efficiently. Of course, if you let it go on long enough the cat could be damaged as well.

The primary O2 sensor will try to balance things but if it's getting near its threshold, the cat might not be able to handle the load, especially as it probably isn't as efficient as the factory cat. It's possible the original cause is a simple maintenance item.

I've run an O2 Spacer, Big Daddies Garage Mini Cat O2 Sensor.... they don't work on the FIAT 500.

finally got my hands on a cellphone again so i can pair it with my obd2 reader and see what the exact code is...but thats the thing BigDaddySRT..i have a high flow cat, its not catless..idk why this popped up again..well, firs ti have to make sure its the same p0420 code that came on from this atp high flow cat..but yea, tork had eliminated it witht heir tune and i THINK it popped up again but will confirm tomorrow...the thing is that i also may have found a loose hose ...anyway, ill return tomorrow with a pic of the hose im talking about and the actual code that gets picked up!

I have a hi flow cat also but, the spacer wouldn't keep the cel out.

How does Tork "eliminate" the Catalytic Converter Efficiency CEL? If they set it to read "NOT READY" full time, you will FAIL Emissions.
