    Question RFHM and Rain

    Hello forum!

We just purchased this 2016 500x Trek edition in February of this year.

This past week it has rained fairly heavy here in Florida. Last week the car after wife got to work would not turn off, I told her unplug battery and re plug back in for now. When she returns after work to go home, car would not start and had a key symbol with lock around it in dash. I thought it was batt, went to auto part got new batt but same issue. Had to get the car towed to dealer, they tell me moisture/water is getting into the RFHM module and causing short/issues. Picture is attached.

How common is this issue, has anyone here experienced this? There was no flooding, pools of deep water ect, normal decent rain storm.

Thanks for reading, any help appreciated.

Considering where the RF Hub is located (In the rear ceiling) the RF Hub is vulnerable to a leaky sunroof. I believe the last person that had this replaced the RF Hub. Scroll down to Passive Entry Module :
