    Fog lights acting weird?

Recently noticed that the factory fog lights are off unless you switch the turn signals on. In that case, turning left signal on, the left fog light will turn on and vice versa. This is really weird?
I don't see any button how to separately turn the fog lights on/off?

For clarification, are you referring to the running lights? The running lights are the same lens as the turn signals and the fog lights are mounted lower in the bumper.

If the 500L is like my '18 500, the running lamp has 2 filaments. With headlights on, only 1 filament is lit, both are lit when headlights off. When the turn signal is turned on, that side's running light turns off to make the turn signal more obvious.

This 500L video explains all the front lights a bit better.

The fog lights on my 500L are two lowest round lances placed on the front bumper. Just figure it out, I can turn it on and off using button below radio. But when they are off, turn signal also enlightening the same side fog light. Maybe supposed to be like that?

The fog lamps on our 500L were incorporated in the lower front bumper. Has nothing to do with the upper driving/turn signal lamps. To turn on the fog lamps if equipped on your car. There is a Push button switch under the radio controls, if I remember right.
