Radiator Support bolts?

One of my radiator support bolts (13mm located inside the fenders, see below) was pretty deteriorated and completely disintegrated while removing it today.

Anyone know the part number or spec (diam / thread / length) for these? I'm probably going to just get a full set of 4 higher grade ones that won't rust.

If there are any threads left, you could take them with to a parts store and compare. I have thread gauges, but usually don't bother with them.

Yeah, that's probably what I'm going to do, though unlikely to get 18-8 stainless unless it's a specialty hardware store... was hoping to just get some online.

Once you know the size, finding stainless should be easy enough. You could also check if there is a fastener store in your town/city. I've visited our stores a few times when looking for an unusual fastener.

Just take one of the other good bolts up to any hardware store, match the size 13mm, length and tread. Buy some good Galvanize replacement bolts. You don’t need stainless steel. Ace hardware stores, have lots of custom, unusually sizes. Any auto supply store will carry them too. Body bolts, aren’t a rare item find. Some auto supply parts store, have a section called “Help” brand items, where they carry odd ball parts for all makes.

Went to HD today and measured them. They were out of SS, so I had to get Zinc plated. Oh well.

M8-1.25 x 16mm, in case anyone winds up here.

That good you found the replacement ones. Wonder why the other bolts rotted away? Do you live in a salty winter road area? We’re you replacing the radiator, when you discovered the bad bolts?

No idea about OP, but the grade of bolts Fiat uses for those 4 bolts on top of the core support is.... unpredictable.

On my 500T, 3 of the 4 bolts are perfect. One is rusty. No idea why that one decided to rust. Not in a salty area at all. On my Abarth, one of the bolts decided to randomly cross thread. No idea why. I was running it in carefully, next thing you know, threads made of cheese. Throwaway bolts it seems.

I watch the Love 500 channel, on YouTube. He was removing one of The 4 bolts, across the top front bumper cover. It was corroded extremely bad. He had to drill out the bolt. I can see how water and salt come under the hood lip.
