    OZ rally racing wheels

Planning on purchasing a set of OZs in the future. 17x7 +35 4-98s. Anyone running these in their 500e currently?

I don't have a 500e, but some guys have gone with 17" wheels. (Most guys go with less expensive wheels.) A 205/40/17 tire is fairly close to the same height. It's about 2% taller and 10% wider than stock, with 19.4% less side wall. Speedo isn't enough different to be concerned with but the ride will be stiffer and range affected. (The bigger tire size is about 75% more expensive than the 15's.)

I'd love to see your setup when you get it installed. I really wanted a set of OZ's a couple years ago but couldn't justify the cost in my budget.

Give 500 madness a call. See if they have installed any. On a 500e.

Yeah, I love those looks. I think you can still get those in 4x100 bolt pattern. There was a similar wheel for a while...

If I was going to spend $2500 on tires/wheels, I'd probably go with something other than white, though. White stayed cleaned up on my PU, but on these low profiles appear to stain... but maybe that's neglect.

Make the 500, look like a rally car. Nice white wheels, on a red and white stripe Abarth.

Do the 4-100s fit our car? I thought we needed 4-98s?

You use wobble bolts... increases your choice of wheels since you can order 4x100 bolt patterns. For a 500e or performance ap, I might look for light wheels. The 17" OZ Alleggerita HLT is 17 lbs (13.8 lbs for 16"), while the Rally Race is 23 lbs. It is also designed to fit the 500. When you purchase don't forget to order the center caps, TPMS and Schrader valves along with the tires. It's annoying to stick new tires on a rim just to have the TPMS start blinking.

Factory wheels are around 15.8 lbs, IIRC.
