    Improving Engine Response and Driveability

I have made some improvements on my Fiat 500X that made it so much more responsive and fun to drive!

    1. Installed GoPedal by Madness My settings Yellow (sport) Red(supersport)

    2. Installed lightweight crank pulley - this really work !
warning: The pulley was not a drop in. It was tight so I had to remove the ceracoat from the hole to make it slip on. Use sandpaper and sand evenly.

    3. Adjusted gas pedal setting to eliminate initial dead spot - be careful here as you might end up with excessive idle speed. Warning : Do this only if you are technically savvy. Do at your own risk.
Its simple but, you know we're talking about the gas pedal here.
After my adjustment, the dead spot was completely eliminated. The gas pedal on the trekking plus is held by only one screw and the pedal assy goes into a slot. It was more difficult for me to go under the dash because I'm fat.

If you can do all these 3 items you will be very happy with the results!

These improvements can also be applied to Jeep Renegade and sister platforms like Dodge Dart

I'm all about drive ability upgrades, nice work.

I've always wondered if I could take my GoPedal and slap it on my sister-in-law's Renegade.

As far as I know the go pedal will work on the Renegade. It worked on my son's 500 L too.
