Customer love to upgrade their engines with tunes and mods to go faster but did you know the best way to achieve faster acceleration is to change your final drive?

Stock our cars come with a final drive of 3.35 which is geared for gas mileage but your acceleration will suffer. From my experience from racing the biggest change you can make that will not affect reliability will be to upgrade your final drive to a 4.08. You will see an increase in your acceleration times of 10-15%. You did not change anything on your engine only in your transmission.

Bacci Romano offers others but if you want a good compromise for the majority of driving that you will be doing on the street or highway go with a 4.08. This is also the final drive we are racing with this year.

It is about 10 hours of work. The trans must be removed, broken down and then change the ring and pinion. If you plan to autocross or go on track it would be a good idea to install a LSD as well at this time.

Some customers can do this themselves and others must go to a shop.
