    That poor car. Looks like it may be a development car. My buddy bought a brand new '71 124 Spider when he got back from Vietnam. When he got the car home, there was already a rust buble under the front bumper. The car in the picture has got no chance!

    Yeah, most cars of the 50's would dissolve like they were made of cardboard... but it looks like fun.

    It reminded me of a friend of my room mate in the Army. They took off in his newer Jeep Friday night, got stoned and played "Dude, where's my car" all weekend. Sunday they came back all bummed out. He'd parked it next to the water at low tide.
