    Bilstein or KW coil overs?

I mounted a new set of tires today, and found out that my right front strut is leaking bad. Must have happened recently since there was no dirt build up yet. Seal blown and whole strut is covered. Current setup is a set of V-Maxx coilovers (from Madness) with maybe 25K miles on it. Kind of a disappointment that I didnt get more miles out of it, but it is what it is. The coilovers look great, got the perfect wheel gap. Little rough, but for the price and how low it is, its hard to complain.

Anyway. Im thinking about replacing the V-maxx set for either a set of Bilstein B14s or KW Variant1. Wondering if anybody has experience with either set. Ive also seen a set of Vogtland and ST coilovers on Madness website, but Ive no experience with either brand.

just for background info, my Abarth is a daily driver and doesnt see the track. I drive 130miles a day, so leaning towards a little more comfortable set than the V-maxx, but in my 20 years of car ownership Ive only owned lowered cars, so I get that coilovers will never be as comfortable as the OE setup.

I was not impressed with KW V1. The highest setting on front and lowest setting on back combined to leave the car exactly level. And too damned low. There wasn't a setting for the front that wasn't slammed so hard it scraped everywhere. They were harsh as f*ck as well.

Sold them on and replaced them with Vogtland springs + Koni Sport shocks and have not regretted it one bit.

Thanks! Would’ve hoped that KW had their setup sorted a little better. You’d think so anyway. Glad to know ahead of time to go another route.
