Is it just me, or has EVERYTHING Italian gone down the drain since Sergio’s untimely demise?

Watching the disaster film ‘Ferrari vs. Ferrari’, yesterday, from Austria, the shuttered Studios, Alfa’s lack of respect in North America and the likely demise of FIAT North America, I have to think it would be better if he was still at the helm.
Or, maybe not. But the F1 team’s fortunes rose, peaked, and then spiralled downward after he took ill.

Mattia Binoto has completely lost control.

Mercedes, meanwhile, are making McLaren & Racing Point competitive again.

He was a "car guy" in the vein of Lee Iacocca. That's the endless battle in the business: the "bean counters" versus the engineers and the people who get it.

I'm glad I lived through the time when the iron mattered.
