I haven't had the personal experience (i.e. somebody within my personal circle of friends and relations) dying from this virus.

But... I have a lot of friends and relatives who've had the virus. I spend a lot of time in Huntsville, AL which is a rather "international" city due to the aerospace industry located there, which means lots of people traveling into Huntsville from around the world. In December and January there were quite a few people sick with what turned out to be this virus. My brother and both of my parents had it.

I personally think its just social media platforms that do it.

I've had several forums I was in go dead and just cease to exist now that groups and such can be done on Facebook. I hate facebook but There are like 4-5 really active fiat and abarth groups and I see a lot of activity there.

All the new traffic is going to Facebook groups. Forums really are going away, quickly. I run both a forum and a Facebook group, and you just no longer see forum traffic. Facebook is where people are at like it or not.

That might be so, but FB simply doesn't allow stored knowledge.

I’m on a couple Fiat forums. Seems to me they all have slowed downed. I was on our own local FB page. I don’t think it exist any longer. It was pretty lame anyway. I too prefer these forums.

I'm here! No FB though. I, too, noticed the slow down. A lot of one timers asking questions already answered and never come back.

First thank you all for visiting the forum and all the help and contributions you make to the Fiat community. Looking at the analytics show we doing better than you might think.

No doubt FB has the convenience factor, but we have the content advantage. You can come here and find what you need comparatively easier than FB. Searching for info or even posts on FB can be frustrating. Here, we have 2 built-in searches, plus you can search our site with Google (just add site:fiat500usaforum.com to your Google searches, and Google will do a deep search of our site).

We also don't have the privacy and selling and using your info issues FB has.

We do have plans to make the forum easier to use for phones for everyone's convenience, which I can't wait for that to happen. In the meanwhile, thanks again for the support and for making this the place what it is.
