    Charger problems

Last week we picked up our 500e and after a drive home we wanted to charge the car.
We plugged the charger in a socket and it started charging. After some minutes it stopped and we got the 2 outer dash lights. Tried different sockets but every time it gave the outer dash lights (as well two red Led lights flashing on the charger)
Called the seller and he came to swap the charger. Plugged the new charger in and started charging. After 1 hour it was still okay so thought it was a faulty charger.
But a quarter of an hour later....2 flashing outer dash lights again.
I was told to have an electrician check the earth/ground because that could be the cause of the fault.
Electrician came today and checked entire installation, nothing wrong.
I tried the charger again without the car plugged in as well and without actually charging, the charger stops after several minutes. 2 red flashing leds and the green leds flashes 2 short times 1 led and then 1 longer time 3 green leds. Is this some kind of code? And if so, what does it mean? Maybe it will help me solve the issue. At least it is not the car producing the fault, it must be the charger or the electricity at home

The first additional test I would try in this instance is to take the car to a public charger and see if the the goalposts, which is the two outer lights on the dash flashing is typically called, continues. This will rule out the car as the problem.

As for the coding of the flashing lights, the sequences for the EVSE are described in the owner's manual. Big takeaway is that if the top two lights are red and not green, the EVSE is in a fault state and will not operate.

Sorry, forgot to tell, we charged it at a public charger and that went fine, so it is definitely not the car producing the fault.
Today, we tried the charger a few houses down the street and it went in fault state there as well.
Tomorrow we will take it to an other village and try the charger in a wall socket. Just to be sure and to rule out something wrong in our street with electricity.

Actually the sequences are not in the manual (pages from the User Guide attached, and the Owners Manual has the same information).

It mentions, "Refer to the Level 1 User Manual for any additional information on its use or operation." I have never seen or heard of a "Level 1 User Manual". Does anyone know who is the OEM manufacturer of the level 1 EVSE? They might have a manual somewhere.

@Jorisss, you're in the Netherlands? What plug adapter are you using? Have other 500e owners used the same adapter?

@RKW, I dont use a plug adapter. The seller of the car chopped of the US plug and replaced it with a Dutch plug.
It happens all the time with the 500es which are imported and sold in the Netherlands.
